Dream Interpretation and Meanings Packing - Are you packing a suitcase?  This may indicate you are preparing to make changes in your life.  Are you moving on in a relationship, job or attitude? Painting - Painting is a form of self-expression.  If you are leisurely painting in your dream, you may be allowing your artistic energy to flow while resting.  Your mind may be experimenting with different thoughts and feelings about something in your waking world.  If you are painting something one color, what color are you using?  Soothing colors may represent how you feel about your environment - you are relaxed and comfortable with your current situation.  If you are painting colors such as red or black, you may be feeling depressed or angry about someone or something.
