Packing - Are you packing a suitcase? This may indicate you are preparing to make changes in your life. Are you moving on in a relationship, job or attitude?
Painting - Painting is a form of self-expression. If you are leisurely painting in your dream, you may be allowing your artistic energy to flow while resting. Your mind may be experimenting with different thoughts and feelings about something in your waking world. If you are painting something one color, what color are you using? Soothing colors may represent how you feel about your environment - you are relaxed and comfortable with your current situation. If you are painting colors such as red or black, you may be feeling depressed or angry about someone or something.
Pajamas - If you are in your home in pajamas, you are feeling comfort and satisfaction. If you are in public, you may have something to hide from others. You might also feel overly exposed to a group or individual.
Pot - A pot is associated with cooking, often done in a comfortable family environment. You might be feeling maternal or nurturing, ready to prepare a meal for others. Cooks are creative, mixing many ingredients to make something delicious and satisfying. Are you excited about an upcoming project that will involve creativity?
Package - If you receive a package, it might indicate you have something or someone new in your life. If you come across a package but do not want to open it, you might have deep feelings you are not ready to explore yet. Giving a package indicates you wish to give some of yourself to others.
Paper - Is the paper empty? Do you feel a lack of creativity in your life? Or if related to a letter, you may feel the need to hear from someone far. If you are happily sitting in front of a blank page with a pen, you may be anticipating something new in your life that you are excited about planning. Paper can also represent a "blank slate" - are you ready to start "fresh" in your life?
Parachute - You are ready to dive in to something new, but have a plan in case of an emergency. You may be exploring different levels of your life. It is possible you feel overwhelmed and have the need to go back "down to earth.
Park - The public's view of who you are - or the view you wish to portray. How were you dressed or what did you do in the park? It may also signify a romantic feeling.
Parrot - Someone is copying you or you are copying someone. Doing something because others are, rather than because you wish to do them. Repeating something.
Party - Pleasure or joy. Social enjoyment. Happiness and celebration.
Passport - A passport is a representation of your identity. You may be handing your passport to someone, meaning you wish to show them your true self. If you have lost your passport, you feel you have lost an aspect of who you really are. A passport represents travel as well.
Path - A path indicates you are contemplating a direction to go in your life. It is a choice or opportunity.
Peacock - A peacock represents vanity, confidence or beauty. It also portrays infinity.
Pearl - A pearl can represent tears. However, it also depicts something beautiful that has come out of hardship.
Pegasus - If you dream of Pegasus, you may be experimenting with with your self identity. You may also be experimenting with something similar to fantasy.
Pen - You are putting your creativity into action and sealing it in ink. You are communicating or trying to communicate.
Pepper - Pepper can be irritating. You may be experiencing irritation or annoyance. Pepper can also add spice and excitement. It can represent the spice of life.
Perfume - Femininity. Covering something sour with something sweet. It might also be a remembrance of the scent of someone you love or have loved.
Pet - You are feeling nurturing or caring. A pet makes us feel loved, and in turn we happily care for our pet. You may dream you have forgotten to feed a pet. This may indicate you are worrying about a particular responsibility or feel you are neglecting something in your life.
Petal - Petals or flowers are representations of weddings or love. If petals are falling off of a flower, you may feel a love is dying. Petals falling from the sky can mean you are falling in love.
Phoenix - A phoenix rises from the ashes. It is life springing from death. It is a rebirth or regrowth.
Pill - We often take a pill because we know it is good for us. You might be contemplating an action because it is the "right thing" to do. It also represents your desire for health or for healing, whether physically or spiritually.
Pillow - A pillow brings comfort and familiarity. It can show a closeness to someone or something.
Pin - Holding something together. If you are suck by a pin, it is a minor irritation in your life.
Pipe - A pipe channels things. You may be channeling thoughts or ideas. Do you feel the need to be heard? Channel your thoughts in order to express yourself.
Pirate - A pirate in your dream can show you feel a thief has taken something from you, whether physically or emotionally. You might feel something was taken from you unfairly. Is there someone you feel is after you who is actually quite irresponsible or less than trustworthy?
Pit - Are you afraid of being trapped? Do you feel alone in a situation you can't get out of?
Plumbing - Our internal organs. Also, feeling confined while rushing from one thing to the next.
Poison - A warning that something or someone can harm us. Your mind is telling you to be careful near a person or in a situation. The potential to poison us or harm us. Something "poisonous" in our vicinity.
Pollen - Fertility or the generation of new thoughts, ideas or situations.
Pool - A collection of thoughts and feelings. A pool of emotions. A central idea. Something you are ready to jump in to.
Pope - A fatherly figure. Respect and greatness. Holiness. Your thoughts of religion.
Poster - What is on the poster? This may be something your subconscious is trying to tell you. The "writing on the wall."
Porcupine - Something that looks somewhat innocent that might hurt you. Fear of being sharply hurt by something or someone. A risk.
Pot - There are some well known expressions regarding a pot, namely, "gone to pot" or "a pot of gold." What did the pot look like? Was it empty, meaning something has "gone to pot" in your life? Or was it full, whether of greenery or money? A cooking pot may show your ability to throw things together to make something good.
Pregnancy - Growth of a new idea or thought. A new relationship. If you are a woman, you may be feeling the urge to nurture or become pregnant.
Prince or Princess - The royal beauty or strength within you. Your sense of nobility.
Prison - Restriction or isolation. Punishment. Is there something you feel you have done wrong that is working at your conscious?
Propeller - A force that is driving you. Something that is giving you "wings."
Puppet - Is someone controlling you? Or perhaps you are being controlled by someone else?
Purse - A purse can indicate wealth. It also holds things that you feel you need close. Did you lose your purse? Then you may be in a financial bind or feel you have lost a necessity.
Pyramid - Something larger than life. May be your spirituality pointing toward God. Something solid and unmoving.
