Dreams are truly
the window to your soul. But so often, we give only a moment's
thought to our dream before we head out for the day.
Tomorrow,
allow yourself the time to stop and remember. Think about what
you dreamt and interpret it with our help. What you learn
about yourself through your dreams just may surprise you!
Dreams that begin with
G
Garbage
- Are you throwing away your old garbage? Then you are
ridding yourself of either bad habits, people or situations in your life.
If you are in the middle of trash, you may feel your reputation has been
tarnished. Seeing garbage near another individual may show you have lost
respect for that person.
Gasoline - Gasoline is flammable
under many circumstances. Perhaps you are dealing with feelings that may
explode at any time. How was the gas used? Was someone near you
while the gas was involved? Do you feel they are emotional and may "blow"
at any time?
Giant - Children are known to dream
of a giant teacher or other adults in their lives. As an adult yourself
you may dream of others being larger than life. Either of these should be
interpreted depending on your feelings in the dream. You probably have
strong emotions toward this "giant" and feel overwhelmed or overpowered by these
feelings. You may wish to be more like this person or you may feel they
overpower you in some way.

Gift - Who is giving the gift and
what is inside? The type of gift usually depicts what you are currently
receiving from that person. The gift may be loving, generous and
surprising, all things you are receiving from that person while awake. If
you do not open the gift, it can represent hope and longing.
Glasses - Sunglasses protect you
from others as well as uncomfortable situations. Eye glasses can represent
a clearer insight, while broken glasses show a lack of understanding or
knowledge.
Glue - Are you using glue to hold
two things together? Think about those things and why you might wish them
not to be apart. Glue bonds, and you may wish to bond with someone or
something if glue is involved. Glue does not separate.
Gold
- Gold is something known to be
eternal and forever. If something is "golden," it is good and has value.
What was gold? The item has value to you. Or if you are near gold in
your dream, think about who or what was around you.
Grass
- Grass can be in a vast field and may appear to be one item. This can
represent coming back to nature as well as peace. However looking more
closely, grass is full of thousands of sprouting individual parts. Are you
sprouting ideas? If the grass was overgrown, you may be feeling cluttered
in your life in either emotions or environment.
Grate - A grate almost resembles a
jail, with the unknown beneath. Is your subconscious telling you that you
are hiding something ugly or frightening inside? Perhaps your mind is
protecting you from feelings you know are not beneficial to your well-being.
Greenhouse
- Has someone sheltered
you all your life, as the gardener shelters plants in the greenhouse? You
may be feeling stressed and have a need to be protected from the elements.
If you are in the greenhouse caring for something, you feel nurturing and
protective.
Grill - A grill is often flaming
hot. Imagine yourself grilling, keeping away from the flames as you turn
the food. Could you have someone or something that you need to be careful
around, for fear of getting burned? Everyone needs sustenance to live.
You may have someone or something close to you that you need, yet that might
"burn" you.
Gun
- A gun is often equated with violence, yet in a dream you may use the gun to
defend yourself against sadness and negative situations. A gun is powerful
and may be aimed at a situation that you are emotionally defending yourself
against. How was the gun used in your dream? If you were shot, you
may be feeling hurt by someone or something. If you are aiming the gun,
what are you aiming at? A person you feel defensive against? Or a
situation that you need to protect yourself from? A gun can also represent
the male.
