Cage - I you dream you are in a cage, you may feel trapped by a situation near you. Do you feel like you are being smothered by a situation, job or person? There might be something holding you back from your waking life's dreams. Sometimes if you let someone or something upset you, a dream about a cage may result.
Candle - A candle is usually a sign of inner awareness, calm or prayer. If the candle is lit in a dark room, you may be near a new and possibly life changing awareness in your life. Your eyes may become opened to something once not seen. Some may look at a candle as a symbol of the male.
Cane - If you dream of someone with a cane, you may view them as an authority figure. Perhaps you fear this person without realizing it.
Car - What drives you in life? Although this may sound like a cliché, dreaming of a car just might be an indication of your drives. Look at where you were driving in your dream. Were you driving past something that you tried to stop at? There may be something holding you from your life's goal. Or perhaps you are racing toward the exact life path you are striving for.
Cat - Cats bring warmth, companionship and comfort. If you are a man and dream about a cat, you may have a desire for a close and rewarding relationship with a woman. If you are a woman, a cat may indicate your maternal feelings. Perhaps you have been thinking of becoming a mother, or are dreaming of your infants now grown.
Cemetery - A cemetery might represent a connection to your family's history or might be a reminder of a past relative. If your dream is a frightening dream, you may fear death or a possible illness. If you are in a troubled relationship, perhaps it is time to "bury" the connection to this person.
Chain - If you are bound by a chain, you are bound by something or someone in your waking life. A chain with a broken link tells you something in your life is missing or broken. If the chain is shown in a positive light, it shows you strength or power.
Chase - You are being chased by your waking fear or by a situation in your life that is causing you anxiety. You may also be running from something that you should turn and face.
Chest - A chest can represent our hopes and dreams. It might also show what is most important to us.
Choking - If you are choking, there may be something you need to reveal to a friend or family member that you've been keeping inside. Are you holding a feeling in that you have not recognized yet? Or is there a situation keeping you from revealing your true feelings or desires?
Church - What happens in the church while you are dreaming? Are you on the outside or the inside participating? Your waking belief about religion and church often mean the same in your dream. If you are on the outside, perhaps you feel somewhat detached from your church and feel the need to be closer. If you are inside, you may be dreaming of the inner peace you feel from your particular religion.
Cigarette - Those who smoke often find themselves dependent on the cigarette. Your dream may represent your need of a close friend or for support. Perhaps you are currently experiencing stress in your waking life and your subconscious is telling you to find relief from your stress.
Circus - The circus may be a telltale sign that you have inhibitions that you wish to secretly be released. Or perhaps your dream is of a frightening circus, representing a circle of fear around you in your waking life. A circus can represent passion and excitement.
Cliff - Dreaming of a cliff is often an obvious sign of stress or the feeling of "hanging on the edge." Perhaps there is something you need to let go of. You may be on the verge of a new time in your life but you are yet unwilling to let go and fall in to it.
Climbing - Are you climbing deliberately towards something or away from something? Could this mountain be your life? Are you feeling the beginnings of time touching your life? Or are you determined to reach a goal or new experience? Look at how you were climbing and relate this dream to something you are experiencing in your subconscious mind.
Coffin - You may be in fear of your own mortality or that of a loved one. Have you been thinking about death and its meaning lately? Do you have an ill friend or family member? How was the coffin represented? Was there sadness or was there a sense of peace?
Comb - Is there an upcoming event you are planning to dress up for? You might be anticipating an event that you are looking forward to and wish to plan for. Were you combing your hair near someone? You may wish to appear well kept to this person.
Comet - A comet represents something new and exciting in your life.
Computer - Do you have a need to put something in order? Do you have a problem that needs to be solved? A computer somewhat represents a brain or a being with intelligence. You might have a puzzle you are trying to solve. Or the computer might represent someone you respect near you.
Confusion - Did you experience a dream in which you are confused and things move from one theme to another? Are you running and running but never finding something yet unknown? Dreams of confusion usually stem from a stressful waking life. Try to relax upon awakening and reflect on the current confusion in your life. Look for clues in your dream as to what may bring resolution to your troubles.
Cooking - Chefs are creative and artistic individuals. If you were cooking, you are experiencing feelings of creativity and often happiness. Perhaps you are in a happy state of mind upon sleeping and your subconscious is experimenting with ideas surrounding your waking life.
Corn - Corn represents fertility, fruitfulness and accomplishment. It is often dreamt of by someone who is feeling content or proud. If you are a woman, you may be thinking about pregnancy and fertility.
Cough - You may be feeling poorly while waking. A cough may be a sign that you are holding something in that you need to get out. You may feel something trapped inside you.
Credit Cards - Were you experiencing stress related to credit cards? You may be feeling pinched monetarily. Or you may have an inner need to quickly resolve a problem and your mind is coping by "charging it." You may be looking for a quick fix for something that is a bit more complicated.
Crying - Many people experience dreams in which they cry seemingly the entire night while sleeping. It is possible to wake up crying and not remember the dream. This is a release of tension and possibly sorrow that you have not allowed yourself during the day. Upon waking, try to view this as stress and sorrow that has been purged and start your day fresh and happy.
Crystals - Crystals are powerful and often bring about feelings of awe. A crystal can be something bigger than yourself that will bring you peace and harmony. Was the crystal related to someone or something else in your dream? Look to a connection between strength, awe and the person or object.
Curtains - Curtains are known to shut things out. Where they dark and drawn? You may feel the need to "crawl under a rock" and hide from the world. Or your mind may be escaping from a terribly stressful or hectic waking life. If the curtains are light and open, you may be looking through the window to the beginning of something new and wonderful in your life. Open curtains can represent a new awareness.
